education committee 〈英〉教育委员会 各地的教育行政部门均须组设教育委员会。对除筹集资金以外的一切教育事务，教育行政部门在采取措施之前均应先送教育委员会咨询。教育委员会的组设方法应先经教育部同意，教育行政部门的人员亦可参加教育委员会。
