Ember Days
Ember Days (教会法)四季斋期 指教会神职人员一年四季的特定斋戒日，在古代教会中极为重要。具体日期为大斋节〔Lent〕第一个星期日后的星期三、星期五、星期六；圣灵降临节〔Whit Sunday〕(为复活节后的第七个星期日)；圣十字架节〔Holy Rood Day,9月14日〕；圣露西殉难节〔St. Lucy’s Day,12月13日〕。
