Five Mile Act

Five Mile Act 〈英〉《五英里法》 1665年通过,为《克拉伦登法典》〔Clarendon Code〕的最后一部分,用以镇压非国教徒〔non-conformists〕。依据该法,除非非国教徒宣誓不图谋推翻英国国教教会和宪法,否则禁止其在学校任教,并禁止其在自治市镇〔corporate town〕或其原来传教、举行宗教仪式的地方周围五英里之内活动。该法于1689年废止。该名称还用以指1592年的一部法律,该法禁止不出席英国国教仪式的天主教徒〔popish recusants〕迁出其通常居所五英里以外的地方。
