heritable security

Scots law. A debt instrument secured by a charge on heritable property. — Also termed inheritable security. See heritable bond under BOND(2).

heritable security 可继承财产担保指以可继承遗产为担保物之担保。苏格兰法中，指在可继承财产〔heritable property〕上所设立的不动产担保〔real security〕。但自1868年以后，某些用作担保的可继承财产实为动产。
