instrument of appeal 〈英〉上诉状依1857年《婚姻案件法》〔Matrimonial Causes Act〕，对高等法院遗嘱检验、离婚和海事分庭〔Probate, Divorce and Admiralty Division〕所作的离婚判决不服向由该分庭全体法官组成的全席庭〔full court〕提起上诉时使用的书状。1881年《司法组织法》〔Judicature Act〕规定对此类判决不服的向上诉法院〔Court of Appeal〕上诉，取代了原来向该分庭全席庭上诉的做法，此种上诉状亦不再使用。
