new style 〈英〉新历法 指根据1750年《新历法法》〔Calendar (New Style) Act〕于1752年引入英格兰以取代儒略历法〔Julian Calendar〕的格列高利历法〔Gregorian Calendar〕，以便和那些已使用格列高利历法的国家保持一致。为此，这一年的9月3日被改为9月14日。格列高利历法沿用至今。
