pension n. (1)神职津贴 指发放给神职人员以代替什一税的固定津贴。根据1961年至1972年《神职人员津贴法》〔Clergy Pensions Measures〕,神职人员理应得到神职津贴。 (2)养老金;退休金 为某个个人所曾提供的服务而在其退休后支付的养老金,通常按月等有规律发放,并按其服务年限和原工资额来确定退休金数额。 (3)退伍费;退役金 政府对曾服军役的人的表彰〔recognition〕。 (4)〈美〉抚恤金 向已逝军人的遗孀、子女或被抚养人支付的费用。 (5)补贴;津贴 作为政府慈善〔benevolence〕象征而给予的补助〔bounty or gratuity〕。
