pretrial conference 〈美〉审前会议 民事案件中，法院在开庭审理前召集双方代理律师就案件争议点的确定、双方准备提出的事由和证据以及其他有利于案件审理的事项进行商议。双方同意的事项和条件载入会议决议，对此后的案件审理有约束力。刑事案件中，在大陪审团或检察官起诉后，法院可召开一次或多次审前会议，为公正、高效的审判作准备。会议结束时，法院将会议内容记入备忘录。除经被告人和辩护律师签名认可的以外，被告人或其辩护律师在会议上所作的认罪不得作为不利于被告人的证据。 (→pretrial order)
