rendition, n. 1. The action of making, delivering, or giving out, such as a legal decision. 2. The return of a fugitive from one state to the state where the fugitive is accused or convicted of a crime. — Also termed interstate rendition. Cf. EXTRADITION. [Cases: Extradition and Detainers 6, 30.]
