Science and Art Department

Science and Art Department 〈英〉科学艺术部 1837年成立，是商会〔Board of Trade〕的一个部门。1856年当教育部〔Education Department〕成立时，它又成为教育部的分支机构。依1899年《教育委员会法》〔Board of Education Act〕，它为教育委员会〔Board of Education〕取代。
