stocks n. 械具 分足械和臂械,由两个木板组成,每个木板的一端都有一半圆的孔,当两个木板紧紧固定在一起时,两个圆孔正好锁住坐在木板后的犯人的脚踝和手臂。这种械具曾被作为刑罚工具而使用,现已被废除。
