stop and frisk 〈美〉拦截与搜身 在警察合理地怀疑某人已经或将要实施犯罪时可以将其暂时扣留、讯问,并以轻拍其外衣的方式进行搜查以确定其是否暗中携带武器。美国最高法院在特里诉俄亥俄州〔Terry v.Ohio〕一案中确认警察在未取得逮捕证或不存在可成立理由〔probable cause〕的情况下实施拦截与搜身并不违反宪法,某些州的法律也规定警察有权实施拦截与搜身。该词也称作侦察性拦截〔investigatory stop〕或特里拦截〔Terry stop〕。 (→frisk)
