superfund n. 〈美〉舒坡尔基金 指为防止废弃物污染而设置的特别基金。《1980年环境综合治理、赔偿和责任法》〔Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act of 1980〕规定责任人应承担清理危害废物场的费用。这一名称源自该法所创设的一项信托基金，由该基金支付尚待责任人归还的清理费用。美国许多州都制定有类似的法律。
