supplicavit 〈拉〉〈英〉治安保证令 指当某人的身体面临受到他人损害的危险、且已宣誓提出了治安控告〔articles〕时，由衡平法院向治安法官或郡长发出的要求取得该他人的治安保证的令状。该令状很少使用。 (→articles of the peace; breach of (the) peace)

A writ issued by the King’s Bench or Chancery for taking sureties of the peace, obligating a person to be on good behavior for a specified period. • It is commonly directed to the justices of the peace who are hesitant to intervene in their judicial capacities.
