syndicalism (sin-di-k[schwa]-liz-[schwa]m), n. A direct plan or practice implemented by trade-union workers seeking to control the means of production and distribution, esp. by using a general strike. — syndicalist, n. criminal syndicalism. Any doctrine that advocates or teaches the use of illegal methods to change industrial or political control.
