warnoth n. (英格兰古法)加倍支付法 一种古老的习惯。依据该习惯法，若拥有多佛尔城堡的封臣第一次不能按期支付租金，他将被处以相当于两倍租金的罚款或被没收同样价值的财产，若第二次不能按期支付租金，则被处以相当于三倍租金的罚款或被没收同样价值的财产，依此类推。
