Welsh mortgage 威尔士式抵押 英格兰法上的一种带有抵押特征的担保形式。根据这种担保形式,债务人到期不能清偿债务时将其不动产移转给债权人占有,用不动产所取得的租金或利润来支付债权人应得的利息,直至主债务得以清偿,且债务人对其不动产享有永久性赎回权。威尔士式抵押不同于活抵押〔vivum vadium or vifgage〕,前者只适用于清偿债的利息,后者则适用于清偿包括利息在内的全部债务。这种担保形式现在几乎不再使用。
