开庭陈述

opening the pleadings 〈英〉开庭陈述 通常指在庭审开始时，由原告的初级出庭律师〔junior counsel〕向陪审团扼要介绍原告诉状的实质内容。在高等法院衡平分庭，庭审即是以原告的高级出庭律师〔senior counsel〕作开庭陈述开始的。也称opening。
