Heralds’ College 纹章院 亦称College of Arms,一古老的皇家社团，最初由理查三世在1483年(亦说：1484年)创立，其现在的特许状由菲利普与玛丽于1556年颁授。纹章院属皇家典礼大臣〔Earl Marshal〕管辖，纹章院主要管辖有关纹章的事宜，以及一些与骑士法庭〔Court of Chivalry〕的管辖范围相重叠的事宜，因而与其产生冲突。同时，纹章院对贵族葬礼方面的事务有一部分管理职能，纹章办公处〔Heralds’ Office〕至今仍有权颁授纹章。更改姓名所需的皇家许可证亦由纹章办公处记录在案。其现在的职能完全是司法以外的。
