legal owner 普通法上的所有人;法定所有人 指法律上确定的财产所有权人,尤其指信托关系中,为他人利益而对财产享有普通法上所有权〔legal title〕的人,即受托人。该词与衡平法所有权人〔equitable owner〕相对称,而不与非法所有人〔illegal owner〕相对。 (→trustee)
