ordinary (1)(罗马法)常任法官 指无需委任,可依自己职权审理案件的法官。 (2)〈美〉负责遗嘱执行、信托、监护等与遗嘱有关事项的法官 (3)(教会法)教会常任法官 指所有行使固有管辖权〔ordinary jurisdiction〕的神职人员,即他从所任职务中自动获得管辖权,不同于授权管辖权〔delegated jurisdiction〕。该管辖权归属教皇、大主教、主教和某些低级神职人员,大主教是整个教省的常任法官,他巡查并受理下级辖区的上诉。在英格兰教会法中,当主教或代理主教担任常任法官〔judex ordinarius〕或具备司法权力时行使固有管辖权。该头衔亦指美国南卡罗来纳州某些特定选区的法官。 (4)公寓;旅馆 指为游人及其马匹提供食宿的地方。
