allegation n. (1)断言；宣称；主张 当事人在诉状中对事实的肯定性陈述。 (2)(教会法)答辩状 在教会法上，起诉状〔libel〕之后当事人的所有诉答均称为「allegation」。针对起诉的答辩状称为「responsive allegation」，若原告再对此作出回答，即称为「counter allegation」或「responding application」。一方当事人对对方所提证据的反对，称为「exceptive allegation」。
